Since 2001, I’ve been lucky enough to combine my loves for writing and music, working on copy desks at Rolling Stone and Vibe and writing features, album reviews, and gear write-ups for Keyboard, Electronic Musician, Guitar World Acoustic, Acoustic Guitar, Drum!, and Premier Guitar. As a senior editor at Bass Player, former editor-in-chief of the Guitar World spin-off Bass Guitar, and editor-at-large over at bassmagazine.com, I’ve hung out with some of the greatest low-frequency manipulators ever. Here are some of my favorite stories.

Besides being a music journalist, I’ve been a copy editor for the San Francisco Chronicle, the San Francisco Bay Guardian, The Palm Beach Post, and The Miami Herald; I’ve also been an editor/proofreader for the City of New York and a copy chief for Computer Shopper. Looking for an editor? Reach out!
